Instead of droning on and on you can just go to the store page and easily answer your question. I tend to avoid games with "Edition" tacked onto the end of the name, and this is one of the reasons why I avoid them. Originally posted by Celtic Viking:I've considered buying this game now that it's on sale. The game was gifted to me so I don't know if there was a bundle with the Lora DLC or it's included.Įvery DOS2 Edition you buy should have Definitive Edition as it makes no sense to add just the older version of the game. You get the Sir Lora dlc automatically if you buy the Definitive Edition iirc. Source Saga is just DOS1 Enhanced and DOS2 Definitive I honestly don't care for this stuff so someone that might have both could tell you about it.Įternal Edition gives you most Divinity games except Dragon Commander but it adds the useless Divine Ascension DLC, so unless you care for that it's a waste of money IMO. I don't know if it's the same as the Divine Ascension DLC or if it's something different. You can delete classic as it takes a lot of space and use definitive which is optimized and takes less space.ĭivine Edition just adds some extra illustration and stuff. When you buy Definitive you get both Classic and Definitive. I haven't been following your game so I am someone completely outside of the know of what's been going on with your game.ĭivinity Original Sin 2 was the game released about 3 years ago in 2017 we call this "Classic"ĭefinitive Edition is an updated version where it received balance changes and fixed many things/resources. I know that you're not a scummy dev studio so I don't think that you're doing this on purpose, but it's quite frustrating to be the customer and to encounter this. My ASSUMPTION is that it's just the base game renamed but I am not going to spend money only to find that my assumption was incorrect.ĭear devs: Please update your store page to be crystal clear about this situation. Still nothing about the so-called "Definitive Edition". Scrolling down and clicking the "More" button reveals information on "Divine" and "Eternal" editions. If it is not just the base game then, well, nothing on the store page lists what is included. Is that just the base game? If so, why does it have a name that suggests that it would include other things? I've considered buying this game now that it's on sale.
